ANNA MARIA TORTORICI MONTAPERTO

In order to complete our second year of university, we were asked to find an internship in the PR field we would have liked to explore. During one guest lecture at UAL, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the former directors of Trace Publicity, Ruth Butah. Her words about the company convinced me that Trace was the right environment in which I could make my first steps in the fashion industry. Trace Publicity is a boutique Fashion PR agency which team is comprised of about a dozen valid, dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate employees. Founded in 2009, the company has been steadily growing over the years, expanding their service offer: PR & Marketing, VIP, Branding, Event Management, Digital and Sales are among the most requested. I do believe that the fashion industry isn’t always the easiest to settle in, but dedication and commitment make the working environment one of the most rewarding I have ever experienced. After the first week of my internship, during which I carried out mainly showroom tasks, my managers increasingly started to rely on me for more sensible activities. Praising my speed and precision, they assigned me to tasks such as preparing billboards to be published on magazines, managing relationships with bloggers and journalists, writing press releases and coordinating launches event.
